Quality health education and
communication—for all

Public Health Communications

We know there’s no single formula that will empower individuals to take action to prevent and respond to risks to human, animal, and environmental health—communication strategies must be as diversified as the American public. Creative and deliberate approaches to public health education and communication are necessary because individuals and communities consume their information through their preferred channels, and viewers inevitably bring to the messages their own backgrounds and biases.

Taking this diverse and comprehensive approach to communication products does not mean we are unsystematic; instead, reaching intended audiences requires concerted use of all resources available, and CATMEDIA has the creative, research, and project management expertise and experience to take on complex problems. We follow the WHO and CDC’s Communication Principles to deliver creative behavior changing messaging that is science-based, timely, accurate, respectful, credible, and consistent, as some of our recent work demonstrates.
